AP Hockey Systems Adds a New Face and Camp!

AP Hockey Systems has announced the addition of a Women's Hockey Director to the stellar staff as Shelly Picard has joined! The NJ Colonials Director of Girls Hockey is no stranger to the red, white and blue. She has represented the United States at numerous tournaments and events throughout her career: 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics; 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016 World Championships; 2010 and 2011 U-18 World Championships; 4-Nations Cup team member 5 straight years from 2010-2014. AP Hockey, with Coach Andy Gojdycz & Coach Shelly Picard, is running its ALL-GIRLS POWER HOCKEY CLINIC SERIES from June 5th-July 11th at Mennen Sports Arena.

This 5 week clinic series will include an hour of on-ice per day in addition to one hour of off-ice hockey specific training with Bill Katinsky, an NASM-PES certified Strength & Conditioning Coach with over 15 years of hockey training experience. On ice professionals are led by Andy Gojdycz and Shelly Picard, two leading names in the girls hockey industry.

On-ice drills to include power skating using parallel bar strategies, push-offs, take-offs, skating stride, balance & edge work. Not only will their legs feel the burn but their hands will get a workout with our use of stick handling techniques & shooting strategies through station work.
